Abstract

The article examines religious faith as a significant internal personal resource that facilitates coping with life failures and stressful situations (Mukhiddinova, 2025). The psychological mechanisms of religious coping, as well as the types and functions of religious strategies and their impact on emotional stability and human adaptation, are analyzed. The paper reviews theoretical approaches of foreign and domestic researchers to the study of religious coping behavior and identifies positive and negative forms of religious coping (Mukhiddinova, 2025). It is emphasized that intrinsic religious orientation contributes to the development of adaptive coping strategies, enhances meaning-in-life resources, and reduces the level of maladaptation when facing life failures (Mukhiddinova, 2025).
