Abstract

This article analyzes the role of parents in the family and society, the social and moral significance of honoring them, and the decisive influence of parental example in child upbringing from a theoretical and scholarly perspective. The study explores the educational, emotional, and social functions of parents and substantiates that parental role modeling is a key factor in the development of an individual’s character and personality. Drawing upon the views of Uzbek thinkers and Islamic scholars, the article highlights that respect for parents is not only a religious obligation but also an essential social value that contributes to the moral stability and well-being of society.
