This article examines the concept of health from linguistic, religious, philosophical, medical, and social perspectives. The term is linked to the Arabic concepts of salama, sihha, and afiya, which denote well-being, safety, and stability. In Islamic sources, health is regarded as one of God's greatest blessings. Modern medicine and the World Health Organization define health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. The study also analyzes the views of Aristotle, Plato, Avicenna (Ibn Sina), Erich Fromm, and Abraham Maslow regarding the philosophical dimensions of health. Furthermore, it highlights the relationship between health and social factors such as economic stability, education, and the environment, presenting health as a multidimensional and universal phenomenon.
